The first year of the 6GARROW project concluded at full pace, marked by a face-to-face meeting, a reception at the Finnish Ambassador’s residence in Seoul, and two high-profile workshops advancing AI-native communications for 6G. Consortium partners met in person at Yonsei University in Seoul in early December, enabling in-depth discussions on use cases, system architecture, and cross–work package alignment. The visit also included a reception hosted at the Finnish Ambassador’s residence, highlighting the strength of European–Korean collaboration.
The week continued with the AI-RAN Workshop in Seoul, bringing together experts from academia and industry to discuss AI-driven wireless networks. Shortly after, 6GARROW delivered a full-day workshop on AI-native and semantic communications at IEEE GLOBECOM 2025 in Taipei, featuring two keynote presentations and a strong technical program.
Together, these activities marked an important milestone for the project and set a strong foundation for the work ahead.
