6G Summit Taipei
As the global telecommunications industry stands at the threshold of a new technological era, the 2026 6G Summit Taipei convenes leading voices from academia, industry, and government to chart the path toward an AI-Native 6G future.
Taking place on September 23–24, 2026, at the Taipei International Convention Center, the summit examines how artificial intelligence will reshape the sixth generation of wireless communications and transform key sectors.
Dr. Emilio Calvanese Strinati will represent 6GARROW at the Summit, taking the stage to explore this question in his keynote on Semantic Communications & AI-native networks. His keynote is part of the Session 4, 6G Industry Development, and taking place September 24 at 14:00–14:30 local time.
The keynote will explore the latest advances in Semantic Communications — from theoretical foundations and experimental demonstrations to real-world implementations and emerging standardization activities. Drawing on lessons from practical deployments, Emilio will discuss the launch of the new ETSI ISG on Semantic Communications and its ambition to establish the first industry-wide framework for semantic and goal-oriented communications.
In addition. Dr. Strinati will also share key results and insights from 6GARROW, 6G-GOALS and 6G-DISAC, as well as the newly established Orange–CEA Joint Laboratory on Semantic Communications and Native AI Networking. Together, these initiatives are helping build the scientific foundations, technologies and standardization roadmap for the next generation of intelligent, AI-native communication systems.
